I don't think you can just "push harder" as you're cumming to get extra distance because those muscles are being controlled automatically. Certainly when this first happenned to me it didn't start out as an attempt to shoot further or differently it was just that I was enjoying the feeling of being close without going over the edge and was making that last as long as I could.
