Alright boys, how the hell do I do this properly. I've trimmed for a while now, and I decided I wanted to give shaving a go. So today I did, and there were some problems, mainly how do I get all of the hair off? I mean I got the majority off, but there are some areas where it just won't be shaven, so how do I resolve this?

Do the "areas where it just won't be shaven" look prickly/look like you haven't shaven for 3 days?

If so, CAREFULLY go against the grain.
(also shaving your dick kinda sounds like shaving your dick off lol).

i personally never go against the grain, i find it results in red spots, instead go with the grain on all the areas that you can, and if you cant then carefully go against the grain with a lot of shaving creme and slowly.

Unless you want to have tiny little hairs and be itchy, you have to go against the grain.

Tilt the razor slightly towards the hair/skin

Sorry, I don't know, I never shave my body or pubic hair.

Ok what are you using electric or wet - I think like the wet 4 blade ones are to big

Yeah I used a four blade, I think a few less blades is better now though.

I think so as well easier to angle in to shave.

If you have dark hair, the stubble can sometimes show even when all the hair is gone. That's the case for me anyways. However try shaving in different directions, since pubic hair grows in many directions. :) Make sure you are using a sharp blade and not a dull one because that could also be an issue. Careful not to give yourself razor burn by shaving it too much! Hope this helps.

I've shaved a few times, and it took the third time for me to get it right. Usually I apply lotion before hand, then cream, then shave with the grain, then against, and then finally apply lotion to shaved regions. If you haven't shaved a lot before I would advise trimming down as close as you can before shaving. This will prevent razor bumps. Also, you can expect a couple of razor burns the first or second time until your skin gets stronger. Also, I suggest a dedicated body razor, or maybe even a women's razor if you've got sensitive skin.
Hope I helped!

Nothing for me to shave yet, but I figure the bast way to shave the scrotum is when it's tight.

Perhaps angle is an easier technique...I'll try it and will try to give you a feedback.

As to me soft is a lot better.
I trim my pubes and shave my balls. They can be shaved the easiest if the scrotum is soft. This way i can stretch the skin and no hair stubble can hide in a wrinkle.

Few personal tips of mine:
If you haven't trimmed in a while, trim it first. otherwise dry shave (with cream) with the grain to thin it a bit.
then, when its shorter, wet shave against the grain, slowly. I find pulling down on my skin with one hand and shaving up to my belly works great.

Bonus tips: Clean your razor of hair frequently. Otherwise It will be pretty blunt and you could get a rash.
lastly, I find conditioner works way better than cream if you wet shave. It just does, I don't know why.

good luck :)

Move learned that conditioner works better then shaving cream becuase it moisturises the skin as well and it gives me a better shave, always shower first and make sure the shower it warm enough to open your pores, lastly shave the area wash it, shave again to get all the remaining hair, wash it and massage conditioner I to the area and pat dry don't rub it to much. Another thing you could do is if you jerk with lotion or oils or stuff like that to just rub some into the area. Atleast these have help show the regrow of hair and helped get it all off for me and I've been shaving for swimming for almost 7 years now
