It's horrendous that 'sex education' is a viable reason to block a webpage in some areas. Sounds like the work of a religious nutjob.

Yeah, but considering my location I don't think that's very surprising :P

Yeah nah I don't think VT is popular enough to be banned in Australia. I think for a bit, 4chan or reddit (I can't remember which one at the time) wasn't banned, but eventually it did. Even a couple of kids games websites were alright for a bit and got banned later.

I suspect it is not banned at my school. In fact, I suspect they do not even know what VT is... but since it is against the rules to be on the internet during school, I have never checked it out.

I’m pretty sure it’s banned cause we can only use school WiFi and computers for school work.
I use my own device with WiFi so I’m on my own data pkg they can’t stop me unless I get caught being on my phone or iPad lol!

I personally think about this as a educative place, so, there should be no problem.
But, don't go to the Puberty Archive. You find the weirdest shit right there.

My school's web filtering system is very bad. Some websites such as VT, Facebook, and a porn site (Undisclosed, an adventurous classmate tried to watch porn on a school computer and found out that a porn site wasn't blocked). However, puberty101.com is blocked.

I have never tried to go on VT on a school computer. So I wouldn't know if my school blocks it or not.

I tried one time because I didn't have any WiFi on my phone and wanted to check something on the forums so I went on the school-issued Chromebooks and VT was blocked system blocks any sites with specific keywords that are deemed inappropriate. The keyword "pornography" came up and VT was blocked on my Chromebook

Not a lot of forum pages are blocked, from what I've noticed.
Unless it's obvious sexual content, it usually won't be blocked.
