I would try to get to know him more, make sure you use protection if you do and if you are going to his house, I would let another friend know in advance, just in case he tries doing something to you.

Are you still in high school? There's a difference between 18 in HS and 18 out of HS IMO. I'm 18 too But still in HS. While it's cool to think I could legally fuck anyone any age now I still wouldn't date anyone much older since it would be weird. My friends would give me a hard time.

Please very deeply and seriously consider why a 28 year old is interested in an 18 year old. That sounds malicious and creepy, even if it's legal. There is a huge difference in those ten years; that's more than half of your lifespan and almost a third of his. That's an uncomfortable imbalance of experience, in life and in romantic encounters. Please be very, very careful if you're going to proceed with this.
