There is a girl who I've started talking to recently and I'm starting to think about her more and more often. The problem is that she also has another guy after her who she has said that she doesn't want a relationship with but she says she enjoys the fact that he is giving her that attention. I want to ask her her out but don't know how too in this situation. Help please.

Just ask her out as if he did not exists!

(after all, you're asking her out, not them)

i am going through the same man! The girl a like has another boy in the year below her after her. Just talk to her and be her friend until you think you are real close. Only ask a girl out if you can handle rejection.

Only ask a girl out if you can handle rejection.

I would strongly disagree with this approach. If you like her - you should let her know. Asking a girl out is a good thing, not a bad thing.

Of course, she might not like you the same way, an that's life. Some girls will like you and some won't. But, if you do not "take the risk", you may never find out!

Getting rejected is not a good thing so being able to brush it off and move on will also help..

Invite her out and give her attention. Tbh, I think that her leading someone else on for attention is gutless and should raise several red flags for you. Ask her out and if she says yes great. But if you get serious and she still insists on seeing this guy 'for attention' end it immediately.

Well if she is not interested in dating the other guy you should just go ahead and ask her out. There is no reason why you shouldn't go ahead and do that.

I've decided to go for it. Any tips/advice to make it go smooth?
