Wow it looks like you are really in a bad way. You could go to Social Services and see if you can get help from them for a place to live and food. Not to be rude or a smartass intended really joining the military isn't a bad idea either.

I'm sorry for your family situation. I also agree that getting a job will give you money. You can also making new friend meet more people.
Maybe now its time for you to open newspaper read job listing around your area. Take the one located near bus stop so you can using public transport rather than driving your car.

I wouldn't go so far as joining the army due to a bad job or family situation that would be a rather strange thing to do.

So I'm not sure where you live in the US so I dunno if public transport is an alternative to going by your own car. Or maybe you know/find someone for carpooling ?

If you have no other support system maybe asking at the local social services is also a good idea at least till you have the possibility of finding a job that earns you enough to support yourself.

It may look really bad at the moment but I'm sure it's not the end of year world and there is a way out.
I'm really sorry that your family acted like that and I'm not sure what happened with your friend but just because one friend turned out like that don't give up your trust in other people.
