I've gone commando during the day, but usually only during winter so that way if I do get a boner I can hide it. Going commando is super comfortable if you're wearing sweatpants or something, but if you're wearing jeans then going commando will be kinda painful.

Commando during warm weather. Winter is a little cold. You get used to it wearing jeans. Once you start doing it, you will get used to it and it won't feel weird.
