Did she, like, find a box of a dozen but there were only like five condoms left in the box??
The bigger question is, are you actually using the condoms having sex with a girl? If you have an obvious girlfriend and your mom didn't know that you've been having sex with her, now she knows.

Zack, I went and looked at other things you've posted on VT and I found this from several months ago:

You see, I was in a non-romantic sexual relationship with someone else before all of this happened. We agreed to stop once I got with girl A, but even after 8 months, I can't help but think about sex with girl B nearly everyday. I don't regret ending our little fuckbuddy relationship, but I also don't want it to haunt my fantasies for any longer.

So it looks like you do have a lot of experience having sex with probably at least a couple of girls now. It's great that you are using protection. I'm thinking your mom probably has long ago figured out that you are sexually active with girls, so explaining the condoms of yours that she found should not be embarrassing for you. Just man-up to her that you are a responsible sexual partner.

Having a supply of condoms is not a bad thing that you should be ashamed about or go out of your way to hide. Obviously don't just have them sitting out in full view for everyone to see because that's generally seen as indecent, but keeping them in a nightstand drawer is fine. If I was in your situation, I would just tell your parents that you're sexually active and you want to be safe about what you're doing. Unless they're like crazy religious and disapprove of you having sex, they should understand.

Did she take them or leave them alone? Also did she talk to you about it?
My parents know that my BF and I have sex so they wouldn't care besides no one usually goes in my room anyway. Besides no one should go through your private drawers unless they suspected you of using drugs or something.

I actually have quite the funny story for this haha,

It was a few months ago, I ordered some cheap condoms from Asia under some phony Chinese name. I thought why not, its only a couple of dollars for some quick protection in case anything is about to go down. It took a month to ship from Asia so I totally forgot about it. When they finally came, my Mom took in the package, probably thinking "who the hell is Anwabi Fang?". She opened it and saw the condoms. My household then had a whole investigation take place ran by mother, trying to find out which one of us ordered condoms. My name is quite similar to the phony name so I was the prime culprit, I had to bullshit my way through the entire day. Keep in mind I'm 14 so my Mom would go crazy if she realized I was doing anything. Ahh, it was so nerve-racking but I went through it.
My brothers figured out it was me and we still laugh about it every now and then.

Luckily, a few days later, on my way home from school I came across them in my mailbox. I guess my mom put them back where she got them because she didn't know what to do with it. They ended up being expired...
lmao

At this point there's no turning back. You're a guy you have sex Don't stress about it. I really don't use condoms, but my mom has seen my wrappers, boxes, used condoms it is whatever

I totally agree with this advice, and since you are sexually active there is no point in denying it. At this point you have to explain that you are using protection to be responsible and that you are sexually active.

As mentioned above, short of your parents having a cultural or religious reason for your not having sex, hopefully, they will be all right. Since you live with your parents, and if you are under 18, then they kind of have the right to express their opinion whether or not they are all right with you having sex. If you're over 18, then the reality is that if your parents are not all right with you having sex, then you all have to make the decision if living with their rules are best for you or if going out on your own is your best option.

I would just be honest about them especially since you have had sex before in the hopes that they will be all right with your using protection.

Not sure of the OP's age, but don't worry about it...My mom and dad used to supply us with condoms when we turned 14....so they knew we had them and probably knew we used them when they had to get more for us....unless something is said and a conversation is had....don't approach it...I hope that your parents know that it is better to have them than not as a teen

IEEEE!!! Your parents BOUGHT them for you??? And when you were still only 14??? And you'd TELL THEM when you were "running low" and needed more???

Yikes!!!! That's just wild!!!!!! Lucky YOU!!!!!! :D

Yeah it's too much effort to wrap one in tissue and thats not something to feel you should hide and sometimes in moments I would leave mine on my floor and proceed with life and it'll be seen but idc

I bought a big box of 36 when I was 14 from amazon. Around 15/16 they found them in my closet and took them. We had a super awkward convo about it with my dad in the car and I couldn't get away from it. He was asking what I used them for and stuff even though it was only to jerk off in not that I had sex with them. They threw them out but I found them in a bag and secretly took them back out and hid them better

^^^ This is the correct answer. You need to be mature and realize it's part of being a man. Hiding it is like pretending you never eat or sleep or piss.

If it is not discussed, don't worry about it.

At least the know that you are practicing safe sex.....

In my house, there would be a discussion regarding the reason I had them and if I was active (I'm not but do have one that I carry with me).

That would be fucking terrible.
My mom has known my sexual history, but it's never "comfortable" to talk about it, and it would be very embarrassing if she caught me jerking off or something.

My mom buys my condoms for me if/when I need them if I cant get to the store to get them for myself, so there isnt much to be embarrassed about.

Personally,
I think it's *better* to be at least a *little* open with your parents, that way if something goes wrong they can help out. GRANTED, not everybody's families, beliefs, lifestyles will allow for that, but I think it's positive when it *does* allow for it.

Agreed - my parents are as cool about my relationships as parents could be, I guess. Awhile ago my Dad just handed me a bag (condoms inside) and said if and when I needed them, I have them and have no excuses not to use them and if I need more to just let him know. Honestly, it was the coolest way for him to handle it, in my opinion.

Yeah, its awesome to have cool parents like that. My dad is a little more on the conservative side, but mom is as liberal as they come and she is cool like that.
