Guys I have a problem. Whenever I’m in the public or at the urinal and try to take a piss I just can’t do it. I feel like I’m kind of close to it but still can’t make the steam flow. I’m very concerned cause I see guy taking a piss really quick and they seem not to have any problem with it whereas I sometimes can’t urinate at the stall. I’m 17 btw. Does anybody have the same problem?

Why? Is it because of embarrassment or feeling uncomfortable? If so, don't feel uncomfortable.. we all have to urinate!

If you are nervous and uncomfortable that might cause it. Does it just happen in public restrooms or at home too. If you are having problems at home too then I suggest you see a doctor.

I've had that. Usually if there's someone else near me. If I'm at the urinals on my own, or there's only one or two people and we're not physically close, I'm fine. If there's a lot of people I've tried to use a stall. I find that the easiest thing to do is to try and relax, breathe deaply and try and ignore anyone around me. The harder I try and pee, the harder I find it is to pee! The weird thing is in changing rooms, I'm quite OK at showing off!

Sometimes you might feel like you can't pee if you are nervous or embarrassed. Try going in a stall and closing the door.

Its embarrassment and anxiety.
Try using a stall instead of the
urinal.

It is called shy bladder syndrome, is very common, and very difficult to cure.

it's called paruresis, i kind of have the same problem sometimes, i read this training on the internet, you should drink a lot of water (like a litre or more) and go to a public place with public rest rooms like a shopping center. so you'll have to go to pee a lot of times, always use the urinals and the rest rooms with more people, since you have a full bladder you'll have to use the rest room

I struggle to pee at urinals as well. If I really have to go at a urinal I do some breathing exercises which helps me urinate

That happens to me because of how nervous I get. I can pee at the urinal when I'm alone but if someone walks in I can't do it.

You might be shy at a urinal; try using a stall.
