I didn’t get caught but I did get the talk. It was awkward but it passed. Remember they were teens too once. You can lock the door or jo in the shower. I've never had a long talk with my parents about puberty but I heard that it is quite awkward and embarrassing. But I think parents only talk about that kind of things only to show that they know and is aware of the changes in your body and to maybe say that they are there if you need to talk about something.

Best advice I can give you is to lock your door whenever you want to masturbate, time your sessions so that no one is in the house or everyone is quite busy to go inside your room, you could also do it in the shower, and lastly remind your parents to knock before coming in because you might be working on school assignments or you are maybe resting.

Please don't be scared too much since every parent has gone through puberty and being curious, go out there and try new things, it helps to settle your mind on what you want.
