I want to dye my hair for the first time

Hi, i thought this was the most suitable thread to put this, if it needs moving please can mods move it, thank you!

So i want to dye my hair for the first time, i have no knowledge on dying my hair, i currently have dark blonde/light brownish hair, i know i am going to go to a salon for the best results, i want to get a very light blonde kind of like the colour Pewdiepie had his dyed his a year ago (for reference). Any further knowledge i need to know or advice, like one of my main questions is once i get it dyed do i have to keep redoing it regularly and how long is the process of it growing back to my original colour. I just want more information on this for example could i get it dyed once and let it grow out and if i do this will there be any stages in between where it will look weird. Also how do i go about telling my school as they only allow "natural" like colours when it comes to dying. I thought that this colour i want is natural as three of my mates on the yard have their hair that colour by natural.

First you already realised the most important thing if you intend dyeing your hair. If you wanna bleach it like that for the first time do it at a salon.

I dye my hair quite often but usually let a professional do it.

If you dye your hair in a color that is much lighter than your real color you of course have to redo it regularly. Since your hair is growing dark roots will get visible after a short while.

How long it takes to get your natural color back depends on the length of your hair of course. If I'm sick of a color I usually just shave it of since my hair regrows very fast. But if you don't want to cut your hair you can also dye it in your natural color and then let it grow out.

Also could i due it once and just leave it instead of redo it every month, what would it look like say 2 months after if i leave it after dying the initial time, please try to include photos
