Boners while changing in school

Nearly every time I get a boner in the locker room / school showers and the other boys will see it. I find it quite embarrassing. How can I get rid of that? :confused:

It is a part of puberty. You can try jerking off before you go to school to see if it will help, but guys can get boners randomly when they are not even thinking a sexual thought. Being in a locker room environment, even if you are not attracted to guys, many guys will often get a boner. Best just try to ignore it and do what you need to go to get ready. Your there to change for pe, then to shower and get ready for classes/the rest of your day again.

Get rid of it? Impossible. It happens. It happened to most of us more than once.

Think of it this way: it means you are really virile, very potent. Historically, an erection in a public situation was a sign of virility, and to be admired.

Just don't think about them at all. All teenage boys get random erections especially in setting like locker room.

I see boners in the locker room often enough. I just ignore them like most guys. So don't worry about them.

It's just one of those things that happens and really can't be avoided. You just have to just ignore the fact and go about your business. Usually the more mature you get the less frequently this happens.

It will happen the only way to stop it is to really just get used to it, then they will stop

Just to add onto what has been said....IT HAPPENS! and honestly when you start to go up, it is difficult to make it go right down....Try to just go about what you were doing and ignore it...use a towel to go to the showers....and Jamie is right as you get older you probably won't experience it that often....

Its something that just happens
and is natural. If it bothers u or
ur uncomfortable just cup urself
with ur hands or put a towel in
front of u while u change. I know
from experience others have the
same prob and if they make fun
they r only trying to get to u. Do
what u have to do and get out.

They do sometimes suck but it's all a part of puberty. I'd bet that all the guys in the locker room get them sometimes but just deal with them. Once you get used to changing, you won't get them as often.

The only thing that you can do is not pay attention to those around you that are naked. Possibly try to think about stuff that would be a turn-off.

I get them too, and it is embarrassing. But the only thing you can do is not think about it, or just be proud of it. Show it off. Make everyone look at it.

Cold water seems for me to keep them down and trying to do hard math problems in your head to take your mind off it

I've been a swimmer for years and let me tell you: it's really, really common. Don't worry about it.

At our school during PE, we don't shower or get naked, we just change between our 'street clothes' and our PE uniform. I have not gotten a boner in the school locker room.

I get boners when I change around guys too. I just ignore it.
