Even mine does not pull back by itself as I have long foreskin. But yes i am able to pull back my foreskin to expose my glans. If you are not able to then you should practice for few weeks, several times a day. It worked for few people I know otherwise you have to go for circumcision (you don't have a choice).

In young children, it is normal to not be able to pull back the foreskin. In more than 90% of cases, this inability resolves by the age of seven, and in 99% of cases by age 16.

Quoted from a Wikipedia page about Phimosis.

I have this similar experience when I was like 10 or 11 before I got circumcised, (Circumcision in the Philippines is traditionally done when your 11-13 years old as a rite of passage to manhood) I couldn't peel my foreskin back, but some of my friends could actually peel back theirs.

At birth, the inner layer of the foreskin is sealed to the glans penis. The foreskin is usually non-retractable in early childhood, and can be as late as 18

Since you are just 13 and could just be starting puberty, there is no need to worry as the foreskin will loosen up over time. You could probably practice retracting it everyday to kinda loosen up the foreskin.

If you are really concerned about this issue, you might as well talk to your parents and have you taken to a doctor where your issue could be checked.

You need to start doing stretching of your foreskin. It's best done in the shower or bath. Just take it easy and slow and don't hurt yourself. I would suggest you Google foreskin stretching. There is a lot of info on the net. Also a lot of uncut guys foreskins still cover the penis when hard so don't worry about that.

Just slowly stretch it daily, and eventually it will loosen up

Can you pull back when soft?

Agreed here. It may take weeks or months, but you should see improvement over time.
Even if you go to the doctor, you could get steroid cream. Unless you want it, getting cut is a last resort

Easy answer. When you get a boner, gently pull back on your fore skin and slide it back and forth. Do this every time you get a boner and your fore skin will eventually loosen up. Try using a lube also. That's what I did with mine.

My foreskin doesn't retract when I get hard because of have a long foreskin. I can pull it back easily but it doesn't stay back. You may have a condition called phimosis which can be treated with gradual stretching. Your Dr can prescribe some lotion to apply to it that will help it stretch. Don't do anything that causes serious pain and don't get circumcised.

Go to the doctor and they can give a cream that helps loosen in. Getting circumcised would be a last resort but it’s not as bad as you think.

On most properly functioning foreskin it is loose enough and there is a small enough amount that it settles behind the head when erect making you almost appear circumcised. It is ok if it doesn't do that on its own but since you cannot retract it when erect and possibly not when soft, you have a serious problem.

I could not retract mine at all until I was 14. After that I still could not retract it when erect. For a long time I hoped that it would fix itself and I started doing stretching exercised I found online. It made things a bit better but it didn't entirely fix the problem. It also added stretch marks. When I was 17, I finally talked to my parents about the issue. I went to see my family doctor and she said that I could try a steroid cream which I refused because of negative reviews that I had already come across.

My doctor finally set me up with a urologist named Dr Wang, no joke I swear lol. And he thought that I should be circumcised so I was. It was a very easy operation and everything was almost painless. And frankly, now that I am, I think it is better to be cut. Don't rule it out so soon.

Feel free to PM me and good luck.

My does not pull back when I have a bonner

Practice in the bathtub or with something slippery (baby oil, lotion).
Go slow, don't hurt yourself.

I agree, last resort.

Also, in some cases, the doctor can make an small cut on your frenulum that might solve the problem without circumcision.
I have a friend that had this procedure, made his foreskin more movable.

Yes, stretching it gradually is a good idea.

With regard to circumcision it is worth bearing in mind that in the UK the NHS says phimosis (inability to retract the foreskin) does not need to be treated unless it causes other problems such as inflamation, It is also possible to masturbate without the foreskin retracting and it wouln't stop you putting on a condom for sex - you'd just pull it back as far as it does go and put the condom on then. I am not really sure what effect it woiuld have on unprotected sex, though.

Anyway, if stretching alone doesn't work, and do be patient with that, another option is to apply steroid cream. Here you can get mild stuff at the pharmacy and doctors can prescribe stronger creams.

I get the impression from things people have said on here that American doctors are much more ready to opt for circumcision that here in the UK, probably because of the way circumcision is seen as normal in the USA. The point here is to know what you want.

My friend went to the doctors and they put some cream on it and he said it little just retracted then , idk what this miracle foreskin freaking cream is about but if it really is in an issue go and see them. I never really had the issue with this like everyone I know seems to say they couldn’t always retract there’s but I don’t actually remember not being able to

ah, the struggles of phimosis. i had it when i was 13, stretch frequently and it'll go away within months. I stretched by grabbing ahold of the foreskin and with two fingers pulling horizontally, far enough to get that stretch feeling but not too much that it hurts. It took me about 6 months but could've probably been done in 2 if I wasn't so scared to finally pull it all the way back after I got to that point. For me, it started to pull back by itself during masturbation as it's intended to and I finally let it do it's own thing.

This is certainly a great personal feat you want to accomplish before you become sexually active so its best if you start right away, for all you know it could be a couple of months or years until a girl comes along. Good luck

That sounds very similar to the way I was before I got cut. Circumcision like I have stressed is almost painless. Very simple and easy procedure. Probably more simple and easy than trying to keep it.
