What is Identity?

The word, it's language meaning, the concept, the philosophical value, what it means to you, how important you think it is in our world.

For me it's not as such complex but rather a set of different meanings that explain it for me in different contexts, but one universal 'pure' meaning for it is something I might have in my head already but I can't put it to words or even explain in my own internal speech.

So I ask you all :D .


What is identity to you?

I think identity, as a person, is defined by the imprint that the world has onto their personality.
And I think that that is why your identity takes time to form; you need to live and experience first.
