What are good ways to meet new people

I was wondering what are good ways to meet new people and potential new relationships, for around 15-16 y/o???

Extracurriculars, definitely. Clubs, sports, anything you might be interested in. Or, you could get a job, which has the added bonus of netting you some money while also meeting people.

Social outings, social media, anywhere really. Just not stuck at home.

I'm not saying that is the best way to meet people but here's the ways I met people before (++ other possible ones)

Online:
1. I was pretty active in tumblr back then, so I met tons of people by reblogging and participating in tumblr groups (which was pretty much the thing in the PH back then) though I didn't participate in meetups, the friendship was still there because we talk TOO much online.

2. This forum is another way to meet new people and hopefully you can meet other teens who are close to your location. I'm pretty much new to this site so I don't think I could call anyone here my friend but you know.

I haven't tried dating sites/apps, but if you are, please be careful! :)

In person:
Luckily when I transferred schools in 5th grade, I knew like 3 people in my class so I didn't have to go through that loner phase where I'm all alone during breaks or anything.

Like in dating, you can find yourself a wingman (probably an existing friend) and then you can introduce other friends that the other person doesn't know until your network or circle of friends gets big.

In highschool, I was a member of a dance club and a volleyball club, and ended up knowing lots of people from lower years and my batchmates.

Now that I'm in uni, I sometimes take classes where I know no one, but I usually start conversation by making small talk about the current class with my seatmate until become acquaintances or friends (usually I get to know everybody after the semester because of group activities). I also joined organizations in school and also met new people because of that.

Maybe Meetup, google groups, facebook and other social network groups (like photography, nature, cooking etc) based on interest. You can definitely meet people in school and if you play any sports.

If u r in school-join a club-Find a job.
Volunteer ur time at a soup kitchen.
Take part in a sport.

It's better to find people with similar interests, so I guess, the best way to meet new friends is to attend clubs of your interest. Alos don't forget that you are young! Go out, visit parties!
