I wasn't sure where to post it.
So I started growing ALOT a few years ago,
mainly my legs.
The really annoying thing about it is that I have a short torso, and a wide ribcage.
I'm kind of skinny, so it's even more visable.
I know more people say they have long/short legs,
but with me it's just ridiculous;
and I hate it.
I don't just have long legs, I have relatively wide hips to support them;
well, actualy normal legs compared to my legs, but I have such a small torso.
Luckily my shoulders are fairly normal/wide.
I dunno.
I hate it

Don't hate it, my legs are extremely long. My torso is very small so I know how it feels. Though I'm not sure why you don't like it, I don't see any negative affects.

So you are saying to have a big ribcage? Theres no need to fret over that,simply because your lungs have more room to work with a bigger ribcage.
All I can say is take advantage take advantage.. and workout on weights!

I don't like it because it gives me an hourglass figure, which is good for girls, but honestly I look ridiculous; plus my intestines have little to no space in my short upper body; so even though I'm skinny my upper body can get very bulky very quickly.

My legs are short (I think last time I checked when buying trousers my inseam was like 24"), but they're proportional to the rest of me because my torso is short too. I've grown around 2 inches taller since Christmas 2012.
I hate being small and can't wait to hit puberty and start growing.

I'm only 4'10" but have long legs compared to my torso.
Makes it easier to keep up with others despite being small so not complaining.

Yea but it's so noticable with me BECAUSE I've grown too much lately, by now I'm like 6 foot 2 (Last time i measured) and my legs are about the size of a person )':

Understand your complaint perfectly.
Just saying I'm not complaining because it's the only psychical advantage i have being such a shrimp.
Mother Nature is a cruel bitch.

Yeah I'm the same as you I have long legs but you should think of the positives with having long legs. For example sports: Having long legs makes you a lot faster so you're better at track & field and all that stuff. If you really hate it, no worries because it'll probably equalize itself out as you go through puberty.

I hope so, because my shoulders haven't grown much either. I'll see :P

I think your legs and arms are supposed to grow first when you start puberty. Your torso then catches up in the later stages. My hands almost touch my knees cause my arms are so long now.

Use your physique to your advantage...
Perhaps you are a good athlete or even really good at basketball!

I am 5'3" with long legs and arms. My body is skinny and my legs are hairy, but I live with it. An hourglass figure is the figure both a male and female will have slightly when muscled and even then it is not so noticeable with everyone. If it bothers you, bulk up. I'm planning to a bit. Look who has long built legs, swimmers, soccer players, dancers, ballet dancers, runners, and more.

I am 6'2" and I have pretty much the opposite... My legs are proportionally short and my torso is proportionally long. All I can say to you is use it to your advantage. You could be a runner, maybe even a swimmer, or even a football/soccer player...
