So my family were sitting downstairs in the living room right now, door open, 3 people were sitting facing so they had full view of the stairs, my cat has a cut on her paw so i went to make a salt water solution with boiled water from the kettle, obviously i was gonna let it cool down before using it but i wanted it hot so it can stay warm for a while, while going to carry it up the stairs some spilt out the bowl and fell onto my fingers

It burned me so severely some of my fingers are blistered right now, i dropped the bowl and yelled out in agony, my family watched and heard all of this happen, do you want proof of what my family think of me and how they treat me? Literally not one, not a single person got up to help me clean the mess, nothing, they didn't even ask if i was okay, they literally acted like nothing happened at all, and they all knew what happened as they knew why i was making the solution and obviously, i just dropped a bowl in agony, yet they didn't even ask if i was okay, let alone help me out. Want fucking proof of my family life. There it is.

P.s. If anyone has any help for how to treat a cat with a cut on its paw pad and how to treat burns from boiled water that'd be grand.

I wouldn't use salt water to clean
a wound. Clean it with hydrogen
peroxide or plain light soapy water
and apply a coating of Vaseline or
antibiotic ointment if u have it. Ur
cat will lick the paw and add in the
cleaning. Apply it a few times a day
til u c that it is getting better.

I can't, even though i do everything for this cat, i have done since day one, and she loves me mor ethan anyone in the house, she's signed under my mums name so i can't take her to the vets or pick up medication for her, and my mum won't do anything about her, my lif is full of situatoins I'm stuck in where i have little to no options

P.s. As this is fucking hilarious, i made a post about how no one gave a shit when i quite clearly burned myself, mum said i didn't make it obvious I'd burned myself and should have made it more obvious I'd done so and she would have helped me, she also some how turned it aorund on me and made me the bad person still and said how she's sick of me always making her out to be a bad person, when amongst friends I'm known for how honest and truthful i am, and i let her know that!

I am so sorry that your family treats you like shit. Are you the only family member that is treated this way? It's been a few days and I hope that your cat and you both are healing. The advice you got from ska8er will help both of you heal. Don't put salt solution on you broken blisters but the hydrogen peroxide will help your open blisters heal.
