Completely normal man. It is hormones, it is common for guys to get one no matter who they are making out with. I get them when I am making out with my girlfriend. It can sometimes help to jack off earlier, but honestly, the fact you are doing something you find hot/attractive, you're still likely to get them.

Yes, that seems to be the body's automatic response to such excitement and the boy can't really do anything about it. I'm with the other girls who say it's kinda expected, but they feel good about it when that happens to a boy they are kissing, making out, or even just slow dancing with.
