I heard the music I used to listen to on the train home at that point in my life and every feeling came flooding back and I messaged him again 'cause I'm reckless and can't control myself and he sent me a very long message which basically comes down to 'you can't keep doing this', and now I'm just feeling like I did the month we broke up and I don't know how it's never gotten any easier.
It's over isn't it, why can't I move on~?

Its not the end of ur life. Get out
and meet new people-get into some
activities that will get ur mind off of
ur bad feelings. Its difficult now but
things do change after time.

As he said things will change. You just need to find ways to cope and get it out of your head. Many enjoy sports and physical activities to help clear their heads

Since music was powerful enough to send you well into your past I'm sure that you haven't entirely dealt with whatever the situation was. You can't hide from your past. You will hear that song again in your lifetime and you can't let yourself get taken to a dark place every time you hear it. Depending on your situation it may require therapy, forgiveness, and repentance just to name a few useful tools.

The same thing happened to me a couple months ago, but I wasn’t breaking up from a relationship I was acknowledging the fact I had a crush on someone, but I actually embraced the feelings cause for me they only lasted as long as the song, and I kept playing the song over and over and eventually the strength of the feelings died out, so your feelings will go away, replacing them will speed up the process, maybe accepting them too?

Break ups are never easy but it happened and you need to deal with it and go on. There is nothing wrong with looking back at the past. Just don't let it haunt you or obsess over it.
