Welcome to VT :D I would say that for the most part, we are most definitely civil and open-minded- I mean, I only end up getting into disputes with people who can't handle sensitive information properly, but that's more on topics like addiction or something- I'm positive that no one will be rude to you for sharing your experiences with social anxiety/etc.

Aand if nothing else, once you reach 100 posts, you are free to PM me. I have pretty bad social anxiety as well. If you need anything, just ask :)
