Aloha, I am 17, Male, 5'9 and 166 lbs. I know this probably isn't the right place for this but I am pretty confused on what next steps I should be taking. I was about 225lbs 2 years ago, and I have been on a steady decline in weight. I have started lifting weights a lot more and workout about 3 times a week with weights. My problem is, should I continue to aim for getting the rest of my body fat down (still have a decent gut) or should I just focus on building muscle now instead? I lost a lot of fat on my arms but now they look like twigs compared to the rest of my body. Not to mention, my stomach and lower body is still carrying a good amount of fat. I attached some photos below of my progress. Any direction or thoughts is appreciated! Mahalo!

If you're fine with your body right now, then keep it the way it is. Although, I recommend you to not quit working out.

Don't do it for getting muscly and shit, do it for your health and for fun.

I agree with this, also generally working out is just healthy

I would continue to focus on eating healthy and continue to lose weight but also keep working out to build your body. It sounds like you are very disciplined now so keep up the good work. BTW you are very handsome.

Thanks for the replies everyone! Much appreciated! I think it is time to start building muscle now. Or rather hitting the weights more!

i recomend doing both, like going for a run and start exercising more.
not only will you get a perfect form you will also get more stamina.

you don't need to focus on losing weight, but keep eating healthy
and exercise, the weight loss will come naturally.
