View Full Version : Are you enjoying your puberty?

TheMagicPotato

So far, I am. Of course, everybody is different, and I want to know other perspectives to this important phase of our lives.

So... Tell me: Are you enjoying your puberty? If not, tell me why. If you do, also tell me why!

Well at 19 I think I am at the finish line of puberty but it was a hell of an adventure to go through.

Yes, I am enjoying puberty so far.
Why? I guess it's just interesting to see the changes happening to mine and my sister's bodies.

got pubes, cum and a load of hair at 10. Stared well before most of my peers, so was terrified at first. Quite enjoying the orgasms now!

The emotional and hormonal instability is a bitch but all in all I'm enjoying the puberty process and how it helps me grow physically and mentally as a person.

I just enjoy my life.

I never considered puberty to be a very important part of it, even though tremendous physical and emotional changes took place during this phase so far. Guess, there's nothing else to expect anymore - in case of puberty. I'm 17 now.

Mentally I don't see any changes. At the age of 13, I often heard that my choices, the way of thinking etc were very mature. That hasn't changed so far.

But I have become emotionally much calmer. And that means something, because like my dad, I've always been a more laid back type of person.

Just felt puberty only took place in a period of under two years. During this time I grew about almost 30 cm, had my first and, as far as I can tell, last pimple, etc., etc.

I seldom had emotional highs and lows, no voice break or self-doubts.

Of course, my voice is now much deeper than it was at the age of 13, but apart from the fact that I really grew up fast in a very short time - for me, puberty was rather a long, quite river ^^.

So I barely perceived most changes, just grew up with'em, without really having to get used to it.

or in short:

Puberty, what's the deal?

Getting hair in all the right places is confidence boosting for a male. I enjoy trimming and shaving my pubes. Masturbation was always good but now that i cum and shoot it is ten times better. Bigger penis and balls is better. Being able to gain more muscle. I know how bigger arms, legs and abs since i started gym during puberty.

Yes, and No. I mean I am enjoying that I am developing and I am growing everywhere :), but my mental health is kind of shakey. I get anxious, and actually I freaked out thinking I had Kleinfelters, but I went to the Doctor they said I was okay, with some mild breast development. For me, its a 50/50 kind of thing.

I tend to be very pessimistic, so I'd say it's not being that good. On the other side, everything has its good and bad aspects, so I would also say that it is a phase of intense change, what is kinda good if you are optimistic.

Never really thought anything about puberty than height, dick size and being able to buy alcohol at 16. I've gotten emotional as hell, though.

Really hate the hair growing on my body, I prefer to be smooth all around. Some might see that as feminine, it is, but I just like to take care of my body, I guess.

I enjoy it, but also get anxious. It's a little like, for every positive thing there's a negative thing that goes along with it. It just important to focus on the positives.

My experience has been positive so far :) I was an early bloomer and all the annoying stuff got out of the way pretty quick - acne, voice cracks, etcetera - each of these lasted for less than a month each for me, and none of them were really severe in the first place. Along with that, the more positive aspects of puberty - muscles, body hair (when manageable and where you want it), cumming, and the such - came along fine. Being more developed than most of my peers (and older than most kids in my grade) hasn't been a problem, but it wasn't the best at first either. For example, having pubes and armpit hair when other boys didn't in the locker room made me a bit of a center of attention. I realized though that they thought it was kinda cool. To give you an idea, I'm pretty much done with the major changes of puberty by now. I'm just waiting on facial hair and for a few other things to wrap up (everything's started, just a few small things need to finish like my "happy trail" or the trail of abdominal hair coming up from the pubes to fill in more) and the package will be sealed. :) (I don't really want/need facial hair, it's just the only thing I don't really have.)

Anyway, puberty brings lots of change, good and bad, and for me it's been pretty enjoyable. :)

The good
It made me taller (5 - 5'11'')
Filled my skinny body out like hell (now I'm kinda chubby) 89lbs -> 165 lbs
Grew some hair in my pits and pubes.

The bad
I smell a bit and sweat a lot now (I think my rapid weigh gain too contributed)
I was never fit or sporty....Now not fit at all (I puff and huff after a flight of stairs
My farts are noisy and smelly now.
I became constipated.
I am less flexible than I used to be as a kid.

Some aspects of it really really suck, but eh... overall experience it's not too bad. It's alright haha. Can't say I "enjoy" every moment or every thing that comes with it

Nothing particularly negative, aside from erections. When I first got them they were practically uncontrollable, and they happened in class a lot and I couldn't really hide them without a jumper to pull down. Now I don't get them as much but whenever anything sexual comes to mind they always happen. I've had facial hair for quite a few years now, which felt awkward at first because I was about fifteen or sixteen and hardly anyone else my age had any facial hair. I've gotten used to it now but shaving is annoying. Since I'm 18 I'm probably in the later stages of puberty but I really hope my voice sorts itself out soon because I still sound like I'm twelve.

im 14 and so far i think puberty is treating me right, im getting bigger boners, im becoming more masculine and attractive, ythe only problem is that i used to sing for my city and now ive kinda stopped a bit and i went from a soprano to a tenor lmao so that kinda sucks but at least girls think my dick looks big :)

It's going okay for me, I'm 16 so I think I'm almost done. For me puberty went "normal" or as "normal" as puberty can go. It started "on time" when I was around 12 (I don't remember the exact age I was when I started, but I estimate it was when I was around 12). I never had any really embarrassing puberty related moments that I can remember aside from 1: when I was in 7th grade my pubes were coming in and it itched only a little, but one day in class they were itching and I started mindlessly scratching them and after a moment I realized what I was doing and stopped. I casually looked around to see if anyone see me scratching my dick area and a girl sitting in the desk behind me a row over did, she saw me looking at her and I knew she saw me and she quietly said I could keep scratching it if I wanted (which I didn't).

I do like changing from a girl into a woman but its slow and I dont think I'll be large up top anyway. I like the good feelings from it but dont like the emotional change. I can go from happy to sad in like a heartbeat sometimes or happy to angry. Cramps suck to but all part of the change.

Well everything comes with pros and cons. Here is what I feel:

Pros:

1 You are no longer considered a child and taken a little more seriously
2 You become more masculine and grow hairs all over. Parents become more considerate.
3 The emotions takes excitement to different level. Masturbation and orgasms are all about emotions.

Cons:

1 Hairs all over the body can be embarrassing too and you might need to shave
2 Emotions are good but sometimes they become overwhelming and keeps you distracted
3 Erections are fun but they can happen randomly at awkward moments
4 Peer pressure at school for almost everything. A sense of competition.
