my mom got a hysterectomy like 5 years ago and has a ton of estrogen pills that she takes. would be safe if i took some once a month? would it help prevent me from going through puberty? i really don't want to become a man.

I wouldn’t recommend taking any hormone pills without a doctors prescription and advice. If you’re desperate to start transitioning now, I’d say talk with your parents, a doctor, and follow their advice and instructions.

I would not advice on taking any medication prescribed for someone else irrespective of what it's for. I'd say that for anyone for any medication.
In terms of what you want it for, does your mum know how you feel? Would you be able to ask to go to doctor for estrogen (or any other medications) for what you want to achieve?

No. Taking hormones, especially those who actively go against natural growth, is very dangerous, and can lead to many medical complications, up to and including cancer.
In addition, a fear of puberty and questioning of your gender is quite common at your age. Many people don't accept themselves until after puberty takes place, numerous studies and my own life experience have shown that. In addition, taking such an action at a relatively young age would ruin any chances of you having a natural, healthy, and fertile life. Simply put, I would heavily recommend you do not take the hormones, as they provide many dangers, and result in life-changing results that you can never take back in the future.

i'm already taking t-blockers, but those are prescribed and administered by a nurse. i can't take estrogen until i'm 18. i've always wanted to be a girl before and after i started puberty. i'd kill myself if i had to go through male puberty.

Definitely consult a doctor before you take any tablets. The pills your mum takes are probably not he right ones for your situation. It could be damaging to your body if you take the wrong thing.

Do not EVER take medicines prescribed for another person. That's dangerous.

You need to do what Mars suggests. Also they usually put you on a hormone blocker first to stop your progression in puberty from becoming a man. If you took your moms estrogen about all it would do is make you start growing breasts and also could be very dangerous so don't do it. Like Mars said tell your parents you want to transgender and go to a specialist in transgender.

she does, but she just thinks its a phase and is willing to do that, but she won't let me start taking estrogen until i'm 18, which means i'll be stuck like this for another 4 years.

no it doesn't. imagine if you woke up as a donkey tomorrow morning. you're probably not passionately against donkeys, but you know in your heart you're not a donkey. now imagine, as a donkey, trying to dress and act like a human. imagine all the other donkeys laughing at you. now imagine all the humans you try to talk to shaking their heads in confusion. you try desperately to tell everyone that you're actually a human being but no one understands you or treats you like a lunatic. and then someone asks you what you don't like about being a donkey... like that even matters.
now replace donkey with girl and human with boy. that's how it feels.
anyway, that's probably the funniest thing i've ever written. #IAmNotADonkey

While I don't think that it would cause much damage, I would recommend that you speak with a doctor before you start doing something like that.
