I have a a few questions related to physical exams:
1. Are they compulsory can you say you don’t want them to check your privwate areas?
2. Why do they only do them in America is it because of medical insurance?
3. How come they need to do them when us in the UK seem to get on fine without them?

It’s to check for a hernia. I suppose you could maybe refuse but it’s really a standard procedure. Is there any particular reason you’d want to refuse it?

It is for your benefit. I never heard of other countries not doing it but then again I guess I haven't done much research for it. Technically I suppose you could refuse it, but again, it is a standard procedure, for your benefit and it takes seconds to do. I don't see what the big deal about it is.
Edit: I would also say in addition for a hernia check, they often check for bumps which would be an early sign/sign of possible cancer. Just get the check. It again is for your benefit, takes seconds and it is covered in the rest of your exam.

If u go out for a sport or start at a
job a physical exam is mandatory.
Ur privates r checked to c if u have
any abnormalities and for a hernia.
They could b mandatory for whatever
insurance u or ur parents have.

I have to get them done for sports. And I think if you refuse one part of the exam, you won't pass the physical. For legal reasons, A doctor couldn't certify that you are completely healthy if he/she doesn't do a complete physical.

I have a a few questions related to physical exams:
1. Are they compulsory can you say you don’t want them to check your privwate areas? Like Mick said we had to get them in school for sports. I have medical issues that make it necessary for me to see a doctor at least every 6 months. So things are a bit different for me.
2. Why do they only do them in America is it because of medical insurance? I wouldn't say that it's only because of medical insurance. Medical checkups are a good idea for anyone.
3. How come they need to do them when us in the UK seem to get on fine without them? Well you have social medicine over there and we have private medicine practiced here. That is the biggest difference.

I feel like I need to clear up how the NHS (national health service) because some of you folk seem a bit confused about it because it’s different to what you guys get in the states. Basically everyone in the U.K. pays a thing called National insurance which pays for your health care so whatever is wrong with you it’s free at the point of use or at least that’s ten theory.
In the U.K. they don’t do as many checks it’s more down to the person themselves to go
and see a doctor. Things related to intimate health proabbaly come up if people want to go for STD screening. We have a separate place to go if we need things to do with sexual health. Since the health issues tend to effect people in their 20s more than teens.
And the other thing is I don’t do any sport but I don’t think they do checkups especially for high school age athelets over here either.

Be thankful you are not in Poland, where I grew up (in USA now).
The sports physicals for school were very unprivate and naked and weird.
Hopefully USA ones are easier.
Apologies for my english..!

It's just a standard quick thing that they need to do otherwise you won't "pass" it. I don't know how other countries handle it
