Can puberty affect your sleeping? I usually go bed to way later than I usually do lately (around 11-12) on school nights, so I end up using an energy drink to have me ready for school. Can puberty be causing this?

Don't see why not. Sleep as far as i know is the effect of brain chemicals and hormones.
In puberty hormones are completely out of whack, massive changes are taking place. My sleep has been all over the place. Lately I've been crashing after school anywhere from one to three hours and then up late, up early, up in the middle of the night and then back to sleep. Just wait until you get a job if you don't have one already.

It might just have something to do with being older, not necessarily puberty. I have been having more and more sleep as I seem to get sleepy more.

No, it is you decided what time to sleep. I remember when I live with my parent. I was ask to sleep before 10. Now, I study abroad. I decide what time to sleep. So dont blame puberty about this.

Take care - and sleep.

I think it has been said that teenagers tend to sleep later and wake up later, but for good reason. I'm sure I read that somewhere
