I was wondering if anyone else gets frequent erections at night. It seems like I always get hard right before I go to sleep. Does this happen to you?

My guess is that your brain associates going to bed as a sexual thing. Do you often jack off before bed? Do ur thoughts turn sexual as soon as ur head hits the pillow? I'm sure its something normal but probably psychological rather than hormonal.

Could be habbit as NewLeafsFan suggested or could be to do with being relaxed and sleepy. Morning wood is a continuation of night time erections - you normally get hard several times during the night as you go through the sleep cycles - and I have got hard when just daydreaming and not even about anything sexual.

Not really sure if you mean before you start even getting ready (like an hour before, while you brush your teeth, etc) or you mean when you actually get in bed. Either way I haven't noticed actually getting hard unless it's random or I'm thinking about sex. But I do almost always end up getting hard cuz I'm usually texting my gf in bed, talking dirty, trading nudes, or watching porn. Then I end up wanking.

I've never heard the term evening wood before but maybe it's because that's when you usually do it so your body is like getting ready and it's used to the cycle

Actually i have been counting how many erections i get in one day, yesterday i counted 5 but i was a bit ill and depressed, one of them was at night and i always wake up with boners and always get boners right as i get the covers up to me, i think it is what i go to sleep in as i wear these somewhat tight crotch briefs.
