Hello guys, my name is Mateja. My friend want to be circumcised and he is 17 years old. I want to help me by advicing him with pros and cons of being circumcised. I am 14 years old and I am not circumcised and I am good sith it. I just wanna help him, because he is my really good friend, he is to me like a second brother(I really tust him so much, we can talk about all things, we are not shy about anything). So just help me with telling me:
Pros about being circumcised:
Cons about being circumcised:

- Condom stays on better (better fit).

Cons about being circumcised:
- Pain after the procedure.
- You can't masturbate nor have sex for a while after the procedure.
- You get a visible scar (forever).
- Sex or masturbation will never feel quite as good.

I believe that Azur has covered most of the pros/cons in his post. But I can add another pro about being circumcised. Circumcised dudes don't have to wash under a foreskin just about every day like us who are uncircumcised. It's really no big deal. But it's just another thing that uncircumcised dudes have to contend with that circumcised dudes don't.

Unless he has some medical reason that makes it necessary for him to be circumcised I would tell him to keep his foreskin. There are many ways and things too to help deal with tight foreskin and problems. You need to remind him that if he does it there is no going back.

Just tell me by your experience if you are cut. My friend disagrees with half of his pros or cons, but just post here if you are circumcised or you know someone who is circumcised.

Jamie, I have told him, but it is his decision. I want to help him, not to prevente him from his decision, because I can't change it.

I can help you because I got circumcised 6 months ago so I have experienced living both ways. I got cut because it was a bit too tight. Personally, I prefer being circumcised. I like the appearance more and I find masturbating to be better. The surgery was almost painless. To be honest, it was worth the 3 days off school. The only negative for me was going a few weeks without masturbating.

I'm circumcised and love it as it's all I know and all my friends are (I wouldn't like to be the one who stood out). But if I was uncircumsized I certainly wouldn't have a painful unnecessary surgery.

I don't recommend it unless it is done for last resort of a health condition, most penile health conditions have a better way of treating.

Pros:

(Sort of, but not really) easier hygeine
Preventing UTIs
Females find more attractive
Easier to put on a condom


Cons:

Less sensitivity
Permanent visible scar
Keratinization of glans (Also contributes to loss of sensitivity)
Painful procedure


Unless he really wants to, I don't recommend that he should.

I'm cut and it's fine I think the biggest part is that most people get it done when they are little and don't have as much of an impact because they are babies so it's not as big of a deal. I think you're a really good friend for trying to find him pros and cons

If you're uncut you should probably stay uncut (unless you can't for medical reasons). Being uncut is natural. Getting circumcised for cosmetic reasons is not recommended

Althought, a lot of Magazines treat being cut as the better option. It's not true.

A lot of guys here already gave ya some arguments, so I'm not going to sink in that issue that much.

I'm intact and like it - my reason for not doing it is that I like it how it is and I don't know how much I would like being cut; why risk something that I like and enjoy for less feeling and pain?

Cons, after your penis head loses 50-80% of its sensitivity. I was circumcised and my twin brother was not I think it was my mom way to tell use apart dumb I know, I just get all that great feeling that my twin does. I been thinking of ordering a a foreskin recovery thing it says in 1-3 years new skin will grow back

Pro's of circumcison (My experience)
- I feel better when masturbating, i'd imagine sexs would feel better too
- Apparently you can fit condoms on it better

Con's of circumcision (My experience)
- Pain for the first 2 and a half weeks after MY operation
- The hospital told me not to maasturbate or have sex (even tho i was 14 at the time) for the first 2 months after operation
- You do get a visible scar that lasts forever, it doesn't bother me in fact when i masturbated with my uncut friends they all say, "you look like a p0rnstar" or "You;ve got an adult dick you", i agree i think i look more adult down there after my circumcision than before

I think that most here have given you some good reasons for both but I will emphasize what has been said in that unless it is for medical reasons, I, being cut, wouldn't suggest he go through it for any other purpose....
