Hi everyone. During this past year I’ve been more sexually active, with masturbating daily and more sex weekly. In the beginning my vagina was very tight and now it’s been lossening up. I was talking to my older sister about this and she bought me Kegel balls to do exercises with. I was wondering if everyone else does kegel exercise?

I've been doing them a while. It's one of those things you can do while you're sitting in class and nobody can really tell you're doing it.

Hiya I have heard about them, but never have seen them or am not sure how helpful they are as Molly said you may be able to use them while sitting in class etc. I don't know if having something in your pussy could have the effect of turning you on and that could be embarrassing.I also masturbate about three times daily, but as I don't finger am still quite tight.
Maddy I hope you can get it sorted out ASAP. Just get as much info as you about using the Kegel balls.just make sure you don't hurt yourself.

I have already read about it and I would be very interested in a practical test.

I don't know what the kegel balls are but I've heard of exercises you can do but I thought they were for after having a baby.

You're 15 years old, a ''loose'' vagina is the last thing you need to worry about.

Kegel exercises are about strengthening your pelvic floor muscles. Consistent penetration doesn't "loosen" or stretch out the vagina. It's just that the more you have sex, the more those muscles (voluntary and involuntary) learn to relax and the more they can relax - so it might not feel as tight. Kegel exercises are about practicing tightening those muscles and relaxing them as much as you can. The stronger they are, the "tighter" you can squeeze/hold something inside of you, but also the more intense orgasms can be.

So does anyone know what these kegel balls actually do and if they are any good for younger girls for anything?

They're like weights, you put them inside yourself and squeeze and relax those muscles as tight as you can. There's really no need for younger girls to use them. As we get older those muscles often become weaker and need to be strengthened. And there's other ways to strengthen those muscles - squats and most thigh exercises use them.

Yes I read that too and it's to train your vagina to stay quite tight and muscular.

Your probably not loose at all. Vaginas expand and retract as needed, the whole your loose thing is a myth unless you give birth. You are probably just getting extremely turned on and are more wet and your vagina is more relaxed letting you go deeper and easier. It's just a trick.

How often and how long you do it?
What feelings you have?

Just so you know, you're not loosening up. It's not like sex and masturbating is stretching you out. You're just able to relax more and the muscles aren't as clenched. It's like getting more flexible wien you do yoga, you're not stretching out your muscles when you do that are you?

I agree. Anyway these exercises are very good, even if you are young, cause you can control your vagina and press the penis when is inside you, and make boys crazy :D

I've been doing kegels for almost 1 year now and I recommend it to everyone
My sexual life got even better and like Dani said, you can make boys go crazy.

I've done them.. they are great for strengthening your muscles down there for "grip" but they don't make you any loser or tighter.

I do them a lot. My gyno recommended them for me, and I got into the habit of just doing them whenever.

Just FYI, my gyno has told me that vaginas don't actually "loosen up," you just get better at relaxing enough to allow stuff into you. The kegels help muscle tone and control but they don't tighten you up, because you were never "loose".

I've done Kegel exercises not to tighten or anything, but it helps so much with the ability to clamp down or grip. ;)

That's what I read also but they recommend it very often for older women.

I'm sure they do and I can understand why. It works for me (even though I was already pretty strong there before), so I'm sure that it works regardless of age.

Kegel exercises are safe to begin at any age.
My mom and doctor told me about them when I was 10, and I've done them off and on for the last 7 years. I seem to be the only one where this part of "the talk" included sexual health and positivity discussion about sex.
Am I right in sensing even in 2017-18 it is rare for parents to go beyond sex-negative parent-child or educator-student sex negative discussion?
Recently I have been utilizing and app for the exercise along with certain brand sex toys that sync with the app. But idk if I can mention them.

For medical reasons I'm also told strengthening these muscles helps bladder control, which is essentially why it came up during a doctors visit for me years ago. I think pregnant women do this for the same reason.

I do kegel exercises but it's nothing to do with having sex, because I've never done that. But it's just to try to get my muscles down there to be stronger. I don't know about the kegel balls though.
