I have to on occasion. I have to for multiple reasons. The main reason is for sports. It's part of a full sports physical.
Another reason why is bc of my childhood, I have a disease called Kawasaki disease. It's a disease that some children get due to many reasons, mainly due to high exposure of chemicals, but there can be other reasons too. Mine was caused by a high exposure to chlorine and chloride. Which...it just so happens....I'm severely allergic to those chemicals lol. So, that was fun haha. But anyway, the disease acts a lot like cancer. Its commonly found in babies and in young children before the age of 5, and it's easily diagnosable and curable at that time. However, for the rare occasion where there is an older patient, like me, it pretty much mimics cancer entirely. Because my body doesn't know how to treat it. I dont know why other countries have full medicals and we don't (wasn't until I saw it somewhere that I even knew about them). But apart from when we're born and a baby to see if we're growing properly I don't think there are any real check apart from a few hight and weight things at school. But I don't know if anyone in the UK has full health checks like others seem to.
