My friends and I were talking in class one day about our dicks, we went home and measured then sent the results to each other. We do it monthly now to see who A: Is biggest and B: Who grew the most. Is this normal.

I think most people just compare with1-2 friends every so often. I only compared once with my best friend very early. It was more for him really. He was self conscious. I showered with enough guys to know how I stacked up soft. When I compared with my friend hard once that was enough to know I was good lol. I did keep a written record of my growth though just for me. I didn't do it monthly. Just when I thought maybe I had grown or was curious. So sometimes it was more than monthly and often not as much. I can't find it now. I think my mom found it cleaning and tossed it out. How embarrassing.

As long as you and your friends are comfortable doing it, then I say it's totally normal. Lots of guys compare with their friends, it's normal to be curious about how other boys are developing in comparison to you.

Where I grew up all us farm boys would swim naked in ponds and creeks. We'd change and shower together after field work so to me its totally normal to compare with buds. Never awkward for us just fun. It is what you make of it.

Hmm. Do you compare height or hand/foot size as well to see month by month change? Measuring can be enjoyable if you have a friend that likes that thing. Depends how many changes are noticed month to month as to whether it should be that frequent.
