All my friends think I like this girl when i don't. One of them said to my other friends '(my name) likes (girls name)' and now they all believe that i like this girl. When i say i don't like the girl they all start saying i'm going red even though i don't feel myself going red. How do i convince them i don't like her??
EDIT: my 'friend' (don't know if i can call them that anymore) has started spreading that i like her to other people.

Why do you need to convince them? Just ignore it and they'll stop when they don't get anymore reaction from you.

*collective sigh*
People do this just to wind you up because they know it’ll make you react irregardess, and it happens to me a lot too. It’s just a childish thing, as some people don’t realise that people of opposite genders can be friends and it happens to a lot of people. Stop giving them the satisfaction and don’t respond to their little spats and they should stop.

Just look at them and smile
And don’t say a word
They’ll stop eventually
Why not have some fun with it?

While it can be annoying and they should still stop, I am guessing a lot of them are doing it trying to be funny, even though it is clearly not funny to the OP. Try to ignore them if they will not believe the truth. Or you can say outlandish/sarcastic things to see if that will get them off you. Seriously though, if it is seriously bothering you, be as serious as possible and tell them to cut the crap. If they are truly your friends they should respect you and knock it off at that point.

Happened to me once. I just replied that I like girls, unlike the guy who called me out. He got angry that ai indirectly told him he was gay.

immature idiots to be honest. just ignore it, smile at them, and if you don't give them a reaction, they will stop; they only want a reaction

Yep I agree. Don't give them the reaction they want. I don't know your relationship with that girl, but if you are friends or at least you talk to each other, just have a laugh with her about it and make sure it doesn't affect your friendship.

No sure the age of you guys but this is a typical immature response from early teens....just don't react to them and let them get you all nervous...this is something many of us have faced at one time or another and part of going through adolescence...it will slow down/stop as you all get older...

If I don't respond in any way, they'll stop. They're just trying to get a laugh out of your response.
Or use the less acceptable way: when they say it, beat them to within an inch of their life and tell them you'll finish it when they make another similar remark ;) (disclaimer: don't!)

The only reason that you would be so concerned about them thinking you like her is if you actually did. So my guess is that you do like her and you still want our advice convincing your friends that you don't like her. How accurate am I right now?

Do not react if you don't the fun will wear off for them.
