Maybe you already heard about it but Australia just made same sex marriage legal. I am straight myself but I am happy for the LGBTI people to now have equal rights. :-)

I heard also that Austria are going to make gay marriage legal in 2018/2019, so it looks like the list of countries is expanding. :)

I'm an Australian and I'm super pumped! I actually turned 18 just before the vote, so the postal survery was the first time I ever got to participate in democracy. Pretty cool introduction!

A month late or so but nevertheless, great news!
I really hope we see more countries to follow, Germany and Aussies were quite a nice progress last year and it seems Austria and Taiwan are seemingly going to join that list soon too which is good.

Give it 'til 3018 and Russia and Saudi Arabia will be on board too..
