It's not a big deal. I'm used to changing naked with 20 other guys. Get over it.

Ya dude, I'm completely naked in front of teammates everyday. And your worried about taking your shirt off? I doubt that anybody would pay any attention tbh.

Change your shirt. What do you do if you go swimming.

Do you have pubes? Is that why you are worried? If so just turn you back and change quickly (that's what I do)

Taking off your shirt in the locker room is no big deal. No one in the locker room will tease you about that. Do it fast and none will be any wiser.

It’s obvious your very self conscious I am too. What I do is just turn around so they can only see my back and change quickly. 😀
Btw. Just because you don’t have a problem doing something it doesn’t mean that others don’t find these things difficult. It’s not very constructive for people to leave stupid comments telling people to get over stuff.

Good point. Thanks. I also was going to leave a comment such as "just change your shirt". But your advice was MUCH more helpful and kind.
I forget I once had a friend that had been burned badly by fire as a child. Only on his chest so nobody knew unless he changed shirts. He was very self conscious about it! But what he also had to get to learn (and what the OP leapinglizards needs to learn) is that his friends didn't give a crap that he had scars! I assume the OP is overweight or burned or freckled or something that he thinks is horrible. But the truth is nobody really cares. Changing quickly really is the best advice. Getting over it is actually even better advice. Realize everybody has body issues of some type.

Just change the shirt. Most classes here you have to also change your pants into gym shorts so a shirt is nothing to worry about.

I understand some people have body issues for different reasons. I know just because I am comfortable being shirtless and less doesn't mean everyone has the same level of comfort. That being said OP, you are going to find most guys are not going to even give it a second thought. Everyone is there for the same reason, to get change and get ready for pe/class. Most schools make you change the shirt and pants because they don't want you to stink all day. I know at my high school, they had us take showers as well (again didn't want people stinking all day). I know you may be self-conscious but honestly, know one is going to give you trouble and if someone does, try to turn the tables on them. Ask them why they are so interested or something like that, make them look like an idiot. After a few times I am sure you are going to see it really isn't a big deal at all.

Well you will have to get used to it. We have kids here that had to get used to changing naked.
I do not mean to minimize what you feel.

Like others have said, most guys won't pay you a second thought. If you're still nervous though, try standing near a wall with your back to the room, and change quickly. If you start feeling more comfortable, you may want to try easing yourself into changing in full view. Believe me, most the guys you're changing with are too absorbed in their own self-consciousness to care what you're doing. Unless you make a big deal out of it, that is. Unfortunately, that can draw the attention of potential bullies.

you just gotta do it, it will only be a matter of seconds. i am nude in the locker room almost everyday, so this is nothing. be confident and proud of your body.

I get that it can be scary or uncomfortable or weird, but it could be a lot worse. 5 outta 7 days I'm legit completely naked w my teammates, so taking off your shirt doesn't seem like a big deal to me, but honestly just change fast and don't worry about it. TBH noone is gonna care.

Yes! Change your shirt anyway. It'll help you to become more comfortable with yourself.
I'm a bigger guy myself and i used to have to change for Phys Ed in high school and i wouldn't change underwear but I would change by shirt and from pants to shorts. No one ever commented. Everyone acted like it was nothing. Just do it a few times and you will get used to it. After a week it's nothing.

Just change your shirt. A lot of guys go shirtless in the public anyways.

Just change shirt. Or, If you are really self-conscious, have a another shirt under that. But really, don't be shy. I was too when I was in primary school, but in secondary school, I get use on it. I hope this helped you somehow.
