I'm assuming you mean in concert? Probably blow-your-eardrums loud. That's the only way to do it though

That depends on where the volume knob is turned. And those metal bands ain't got nothing on good punk bands like RATM and SOAD.

Metallica are very very loud live
Pantera were said to be loud as
Slayer I'm not sure about but will find out at sonisphere
And I don't like MEGADETH so I'm not sure

In concert they are the loudest bands ever, can;t see Pantera live anymore though but they tore it up and Metallica is probably the quietest out of those
