Just wondering what happens with the puberty surveys we reply to. How are they used? What does the person doing the survey do with the information collected?

I think a lot of people that ask these surveys do so more out of curiosity than anything else. I do like reading some of the responses too

It's mostly just so people can compare themselves to others. A lot of people have anxiety about "am I normal" and that kind of thing, and it can be comforting to see that there's a really wide range of "normal."

I think too it's out of curiosity and wanting to see how people think about a certain subject.

l doubt there's any scientific purpose behind most of them other people's curiosity.

I know I've learned a lot from them. Like, I've read many surveys about masturbation frequency and they're pretty consistent that most teen boys masturbate pretty much every day. I thought I did it more than most boys, but I learned I'm actually pretty average on this. It made me feel more 'normal'.

I don't think anything happens to them. But sometimes the answers are helpful if you are unsure about whether your own experiences of puberty are normal.

Do you all remember when you discovered masturbation? I know I thought I was the only one that did it and only one that knew about it....and I think that curiosity in me would have driven me to put up something like the surveys on here just to see how I compare to others in growth and activity...

As others have said it's out of curiosity to compare their own development against others and stuff they do or don't do is it common among their peers.
And I hope the info is NOT used for unlawful purposes.

The surveys are okay. But you don't really know how truthful they are. But some of them are too long and/or repetitive. But I have learned some things from reading and doing them.
