Changing Underwear Preference

Hey guys, I hope VT considers this a puberty question, but anyway, here goes...

I have recently decided I am going to change my underwear preference. I have worn briefs all my life, but now I want a change. I would like some boxer briefs, but I don't really know if they are right for me.
I wonder if you guys can help me, if you could comment some pros and cons of changing to boxer briefs or staying with briefs.

I changed from briefs to boxer-briefs when I started attending high school a couple years back and it was really good ever since..you feel as if you got a tad bit more freedom and not to mention, in my opinion, it looks better :P I go comando sometimes as well

I prefer briefs or bikini briefs over boxers or boxer briefs.

I think the main reason for wearing briefs as opposed to any kind of boxers is that they will give you more support.
In other words, if you want to feel freer change to boxers, but if you prefer to be more enclosed and supported carry on wearing briefs.

I prefer commando but when I wear underwear it is mostly boxers. I feel freer that way. But occasionally, I still wear briefs if I need support.

I like wearing both, briefs and boxer briefs. Personally they don't feel too different to me when I'm wearing them, they at least don't feel as different as boxers do. Wear whatever you're comfortable with. No one says you have to strictly wear only one type.

Boxer briefs are recommended by me, they hold themselves in place and don't bunch up but at the same time are loose enough that I don't feel constricted, especially with my genitals. I hate wearing most other types of underwear.

I don't think it's that. I think with puberty you suddenly become much more aware of your dick and therefore you also become much more aware of how it feels inside your underwear so you start to wonder if other options would feel different.

Surely the answer, though, is to get a few of various different styles and see which one you prefer. I think it is hard to predict what you might like from other people's preferences. Once you know what you like you can get more of them.

If your parents buy them for you, you can still ask to try some different ones. You just need to say that you notice there are different styles because other people don't all wear the same so you want to work out what you like. Its is the same as working out what other kinds of clothes you want to wear, with the exception that you don't expect the shop to take back any that you didn't like.

I rarely wear underwear as I prefer going commando (and reading above there are others that do to and more than I thought would)...I do have boxer briefs that I prefer when wearing anything....

I only do that when I go to the pool and I forget to bring an underwear. The pants are just a bit rough, so my penis feels weird afterwards.

I like briefs, even though I have a lot of boxers. I like briefs because it seems more comfortable. And I am also worried that if I wear shorts, someone might see my privates through the bottom (Also known as dick slips).

I prefer boxers but will also wear boxer briefs. I like boxers because they let everything hang out and let everything have room but boxer briefs give you the tight comfort. It just depends on what you would like

I usually wear boxer briefs or trunks but sometimes I will wear briefs. To the OP, if you want to see how they feel (keep in mind different brands may fit slightly different and may come in different materials) buy a pair and see if you like them. I personally think they look great and give great support. buy yea buy a pair or two and if you like them, buy some more.

Personally, I don't think that there are that much differences between boxer briefs and regular briefs. Boxer briefs may give more support and hold your junk better than briefs. I have worn both, but prefer briefs.

Briefs are just more supportive and kind of wrap around your crotch more while boxer briefs provide support without the tight seal around the crotch. I personally wear compression shorts and go commando more often then wearing boxer briefs now though. You should try some compression shorts. They are pretty comfortable.

Calvin Klein boxer briefs are the best. They are so comfortable and you don't have to worry about them ridding up.
