Alright... Let's get started here. I feel like this is going to turn into an essay and I'm not the best writer so this should be interesting.
Long story short, about a month ago I met this girl on tinder (she initiated the conversation which I thought was pretty cool lol). With myself being a firefighter and constantly surrounded by guys in their 20's always on the app, I finally caved in and made one. This girl and I continue talking and she also stated that she caved in and made an account just for fun. We're not really the type of people you would expect to find on the app and we're definitely not looking for hookups. In the beginning she stated that she doesn't really check tinder that much or anything else on her phone in general very often. A few days went on, we shared snapchat information and began to constantly snap each other. I'm someone who loves to joke around and be sarcastic so I was getting on her how she's addicted to snapchat due to her high score. She claims that she's never on but sometimes her score is shooting up by the hundreds daily. Besides the point, for about a week or two she would snapchat me at every moment possible. I finally asked her if she wanted to hang out and she ecstatically said yes. Since we were not able to meetup for a few weeks, we facetimed for a few nights constantly. Once that time finally rolled around, I drove to Staten Island to meet her and we took the ferry into NYC, took a few subways, walked around the city, had a late lunch, and returned back to Staten island a few hours later. I am very good at reading body language and it she was very happy/smiling towards me and not shy the whole time we spent together. She playfully punched me a few times in the arm when she saw a yellow/orange car (I won't admit it but it actually kinda hurt, lol). When we sat down on the subway and while waiting for the ferry, she sat very close to me which is a good sign. Normally people don't get close to people they don't like. On the drive home I felt very good about how thing went during the previous few hours.
Later that night when I'm about to go to bed, I send her a text telling her how much fun I had that day and would like to spend more time with her again sometime soon. (I forgot to mention that everyday since I got her snapchat, we would always send each other good morning and night snapchats.) I wake up in the morning to find no response. Turns out that she got a concussion and fractured a few ribs from diving so that would explain it. Now I am seeing that from then through today (which is about 3 weeks) struggling to get those out of her. The first thing she would do in the morning is send me that snap and everynight which she went to bed. I'm still getting them, but I either have to force it out of her or I get one very late. Going back to what I said about making fun of her for always being on snapchat, I'll see her score go up a lot before I get a reply and it's more like every 3rd time she opens the app i'm getting a response. (Yes I'm watching her score, not to sound creepy.)
So... If you haven't clicked off the page at this point, I'd like to hear your advice on what you think about this whole thing. Feel free to ask questions, I probably left a lot of info out. I'll revisit this in a few hours and add more if anything else comes to mind.
