My mother and I got into a massive fight yesterday, which resulted in me leaving home. I'm supposed to be going back tonight to try and sort some things out. Any suggestions? She won't let me spend any time alone with my father, and has a hissy fit every time I want to go out with him. I have no privacy as she reads through my phone, ipod and emails. She controls my bank accounts and who I'm allowed to visit. Help please?

Well, I think your mom just wants you safe. She probably checks your phone and stuff because she just wants to make sure your not doing anything innapropriate. If it's really bothering you, you can try to secretly change your passwords, but you don't need to.

Don't want ask a stupid question, but why are you not living on your own if it's this way?

I was gonna ask/say these same things. Strange situation. Hmm..

Well, if you can't move out just get the authorities when she breaks into your bank accounts and phone, etc. Isn't that illegal?

Since you are already 21, I can only say what the others already said. Is there a reason why you can't move out if you hate how your mother acts. Otherwise I'd change my passwords if I were you and explain to her that you are an adult already.

Whoops. Disregard my message then. Didn't notice you were 21. Move out then
