It's good to really think outside of the box with dates. I'm not saying you should take her somewhere weird like the underside of a highway overpass to smoke weed and make out- that's a definite no, but try places like a zoo, an arboretum, a historical landmark, a restaurant with a cool theme, not just an Applebee's (although a regular place like Applebee's isn't bad either, just average. If you can ski or snowboard and she can too, that'd be cool. Make sure to appeal to her interests though. If she is against zoos because she doesn't like seeing animals in captivity, then definitely don't take her to a zoo.

Don’t always need to be things that cost money either. Maybe just a walk. You scate, so if cold weather sports are always good but how about making a snowman, and some hot chocolate? Or just a walk or a hike. You like to read? Library’s are actually pretty chill places. Or just a coffee. You go to the gym? See if they have a pool and have open swim times or work out together.

Ice skating or roller skating is nice; you get to hold her hand and, it's the most natural thing to do. :)

Visit museums and art galleries
Take her to a an easy going diner where smart-casual clothes are the accepted norm
A nice tea house, even. One that is elegant, has damask tablecloths and serves lovely teas by the pot, and sandwiches.

I love public gardens, so arboretums are great places in the warmer months.

Or, hire a DVD and watch it home with bags of munchies.

Get Thank-You cards and write her notes in them. Or write her a poem.

Play games together, board games, video games, or a nice and simple sport game like badminton, or even blow a balloon and just toss it back and forth and try to keep hitting it without it touching the ground. It's really up to you on what you do with what you got.

Go eat something. Take her somewhere nice, not McDonald's. Maybe go to a caffe or something like that for coffee or drinks. Non-alcoholic mind you. Go to the theatre, it can be fun too. Maybe invite her home and surprise her with your cooking? You can find some nice recipes online. I can share some easy ones. How does a simple walk and sitting on a park bench while cuddling sound? Go see a concert or just hangout in the comfort of your home watching stuff on the internet and giggling. I just summed up where I took girls oit when I was in a relationship.

The key is to not go overboard with spending and luxuries since people tend not to like it and well, you are not together very long.

Depends on the girl. If she likes movies, go to the movies. If she's really physically active ask her to go out on a hike. ect, ect.

Also think about some of the unique places in your area, like nice idyllic rivers, gardens, forests or lakes. Maybe you could make a picnic and go for a walk and find somewhere nice to sit. I know I would appreciate that.

Or if you know there's something you both do, like if you both have bikes, you could go on a bike ride. Explore your area a bit more and find some nice places to relax.

Then there are some good suggestions above me like cafés or play (video) games or even a movie marathon.

Maybe try ten pin bowling or mini-golf. Play games together. Go for a walk or hike somewhere nice. If you're on the coast, go to the beach.
