I'm not a fan of homosexuality, but it isn't even a question for me whether gays and lesbians are people. They are, just like every single human being on the planet.

But yeah, of course they're people. Just like straight people, just with a different romantic preference, like everyone else.

Of course they're people, us folks of a different sexuality (I'm bi) are definitely people. Real people, with real feelings towards the things certain people direct at us - perhaps why I'm not out to most yet!

I think they should be free to enjoy things that they do. Plus, they can love however they want to in their own privacy of their home, it wouldn't affect me, and i wouldn't care what goes on, as long as the adults all give consent, ofc. Let the gays and lesbians do whatever, because we are all still humans, with different views of life.

Are you saying we can ONLY display our affection to our partners in our own home and not publicly?

No, I'm saying that they display their affection anywhere, but while I'm at home and know my neighbors are gay, that they are doing whatever they want, because I don't know what they are doing and that they are not bothering me with whatever they are doing. Plus, if someone gay asked to kiss me, I would just say no. If they attempted to, it would be sexual harassment then. But same goes if a girl attempted to kiss me without permission. That's just the law though.

I think maybe you meant to word your question differently. A person can be against homosexuality (based on religion or any other reason, it's that person's right) but NOBODY can comment that a homosexual isn't a person. It's a fact.

I guess it could depend on the person. They're may be some sick people out there (not accusing the OP of this) who might, in their twisted minds, believe, being gay/b/whatever makes you less than human. I mean think of all the people the Nazis considered less than humans (again, I am not comparing the OP to Nazis). It wasn't just Jews they murdered, they murdered anyone they found less than desirably and could do so because, in their eyes, they were not human.

Of course sexual orientation does not change if someone is a person. But more than that, while it is pretty important to the person concerned because it affects who they take as a partner, it should not matter to friends and aquaintences.
If you have someone as a study partner, or you're playing sport together, or non sexual games together etc. why does it matter what their choice of romatic partner is or what they get up to sexually? Important as romance and sex are there is much more to human existence than these two things.
On the question of religious beliefs it seems in order to tell other people how to live their lives there has to be a justifyable reason for it. So I think it is OK to expect to tell other people how to behave when their behaviour affects other people - we don't let a few ruin things for the many, but that hardly applies to people's romantic and sexual lives. If your religion probhits you from taking a same-sex partner then feel free not to take one but don't expect other people to refrain because of what you believe.

in my opinion i treat them all the same no matter sexual orientation, country of origin, or color of skin
you treat me with respect we're cool, you act like you are superior or I owe you something because of something that you & I were not apart of in the past and I will have issue with you as an individual but that has nothing to do with the person's sexual orientation/heritage... just the attitude lol
