It is normal for it to occur in teenage period. I am not sure why the urges are so strong in teenage years but less in adult years.

It's hormones in your brain and evolutionary leftovers, with puberty you have a lot of testosterone going on and you also are reaching your physical prime and that was the best time for our ancient ancestors to breed.

Puberty, Puberty, Puberty....just somethng we all go through ...some more than others but not something that we have any control over tbh...hormones rule at this age...I'm 17 and from things I read this is going to be the case for a few more years....I will say when I was 13/14 from what I remember it was even worse...not that it bothered me I sort of enjoyed it...

Why are our thoughts preccocupied with ANYTHING? If it's important to you, you will spend time thinking about it. Besides sex, I am also preoccupied with sports. On occasion I will be preoccupied by upcoming vacations, a movie coming out, school about to resume for the year, etc. If it's important then your mind will fixate on it! And ya the hormones don't help lol
