What puts you off when it comes to appearances and personality?

Okay, so when looking for your more significant other what puts you off a person?

For me, number one is definitely personal hygiene, or lack of thereof. I remember a few dates which got me scrubbing myself under a shower or purging my mouth with ethanol, don't try it, use mouth water. I do not ask for high heels and lots of makeup, but at least make sure your breath does not reek of decay and pestilence, or that you don't have sand in your mouth. Yes, that happened once too.

Personality based put offs are drama queens, braggarts, and persons with a superiority complex. Also I dislike people who try to assert control over me. Happened once and I burned myself bad.

Regarding appearance... Nothing special about that. Major put offs are morbidly obese and morbidly malnourished, still, I must admit I had the least problems with looks if it is a nice person which takes care of herself.

As far as appearance is concerned I am most put off by lack of personal hygiene.
And I really don't like it when a person has bad manners. This is a great turn off for me.

Probably from my job in a restaurant, I find it so disgusting when I see other people who are rude to workers in restaurants/retail or even just towards other people in public and it makes me lose respect for them immediately. At least have some manners and be respectful for the people around you.

In terms of appearance I don't like people who try too hard, I would rather see a girl comfy in a pair of her favourite trainers rather than trying to impress in a pair of high heels.. they mess up your feet way too bad and make me feel uncomfortable when I see people wearing them. I also prefer the natural look too rather than makeup.

I think that’s different than just not taking good care of yourself in the hygiene dept. especially if it’s gonna be like someone your going on a date with and whatever that entails. I worked night shift on a kiosk, I know what you are talking about. People can be scum to workers and do it safely just because of the fact that the workers cannot fight back for the fear of losing their job. The advantage I had on the kiosk in the night shift was that I could just ckose the window and tell tell them to go shop elswhere. Boss tolerated that sort of behaviour and was pretty supportive of us, especially about security of the workplace.

Yeah. My routine is to brush my teeth another time before going out and give myself a clean shave so my cheeks do not feel like cacti.

I was once told that kissing me was like licking an ashtray. Yes, I'm a smoker. I started carrying a pack of Airwaves any time I go out just because of that. Here in Serbia it is not much of a turn on or off because smoking is not really shunned like in the West and a large percent of people smoke.

Poor hygiene gives me an aneurism because I'm a hashtag germophobe. I think it's just common courtesy to be hygienic. I don't like a cheesy fashion sense.

As for personality, I don't like people with no sense of humor. I don't like excessively low self-esteem, or people with no spine who can't just.. do something. I'd rather date an asshole than a pussy. I dont like people who are picky or uptight. I'm kind of a robust git-r-done kind of person so that shit just doesn't mesh well with me.

Well lack of hygiene is a given. Other than that, nothing comes to mind off the top of my head right away.

Personality wise, I can’t stand a judgmental, compassionless, narcissistic, arrogant bitch. And also just bitchyness, and piss-poor attitude in general. Few things make my dick go limp faster than those last two traits.
I’m a lighthearted person who knows when to fuck around, and when to be serious. I’m also a pretty caring and forgiving person, who gives others a chance to do right when they fuck up.
So the same know when to be lighthearted and know when to be serious, in general nonchalant personality that I have is what I look for. Life is way too short to be serious and stuck-up all the goddamn time. I really can’t stand that kinda shit.

I don't care about appearance but I hate drama kings or queens who make a fuss about everything, shallow idiots, judgemental people, braggarts, condescending people, hypocrites and jerks who only give a shit about outside appearance.

I mean, I like lighthearted people, the types that make awesome inside jokes, play pranks on random people and the peeps that can take criticism, but not the idiots that laugh for no reason, don't care about the important stuff and only popularity and have bitchy fights about who has the better nail polish and that crap.

Bad Hygiene. Can't stand it when someone has greasy hair or they smell funny. Also too much makeup such as fake nails and eyelashes. Just a little bit of makeup is fine
