So...I have liked this girl for about two years. She has known I like her for over a year but I don't think I'm her type she has previously dated a very specific subset of guys. We are both of what some would say is "high intelect" and she sometimes says that she hates dating " immature and emotionally stunted" guys, she said she would prefer someone "smarter" and "more like her". The other day we were talking and one of her friends asked me would I make out with another girl, I said no. Her friend replied but you would if it was her (the girl I like). I said this conversation is getting awkward and then the girl I like said "it's not awkward for me" and was smiling. But other days she hardly speaks. So what should I do.*

Maybe she likes you and that one day she felt more into you than the others? Maybe she's just up and down mood wise? Or maybe she's quiet because she wants you to go after her? It sounds like she was flirting that one time so...shrug.

Hmm. Well, you have to ask yourself, "Who do I really like?" I think you should just talk to the girl nicely and say that you like someone else.

I see it as a subtle hint that she links you. I suggest you ask her out or talk to her more and see what happens.

Today was a great day! We were paired together in French. The rest of the class started making jokes about me and her. It didn't phase her, she just continued. Sometimes she will confide in me about things, today she was wearing full makeup, so she was washing it off because her parents don't like her wearing makeup. So I said she looked beautiful without it. So a friend of hers said "he only says that coz he likes you".

Message her asking if she wants to hang out at her house or somewhere neutral. Ask her what her fav place is maybe and say you too even if it isn't and go there.

Don't just show up at her house or anything without telling her your coming. IMO it might look desperate.
