From the time I was able to dress and care for myself I was always told to keep covered up, and became more modest as I got older.

I think others feel like you. You should be able to eventually be naked with others tho in the appropriate setting of course lol. But teenage/puberty years are hard. it's not good to be fearful of things that can't hurt you tho. So if it's an unnatural fear you have you should eventually try to get rid of it. If you're just modest and self conscious you may just grow out of it.

I love being naked and have two spots out back where I can't be seen so I do get opportunities (laying out in the sun naked is the best). I used to have a friend who is a girl (not a "girlfriend" tho) who didn't believe I laid out naked so I challenged her to a tanning contest over one summer. Points off for tan lines. At the end of the summer, she demanded to see proof that I don't have tan lines, so I took photos and showed her full frontal. She wouldn't send me any which was cool, but she did ask for more from me.

When I got bad jock itch aged about 14-15 the doc asked me to take a wash at night and to keep my bedclothes and pants off during night. But I got in trouble (sort of, I was accused of something I did but no one could prove) and my parents decided to have me come back to Virginia and live with my sister and her husband to stay out of that particular kind of trouble.

My sister is 20 and her husband is 21, so they're definitely not parental figures. Not exactly peers, and every now and then my sister will give an order that she expects to be obeyed, but definitely closer to friends than parents.

Well, I've got a month to go before I turn 14, so I haven't even really thought about 18. My parents moved to Arizona to take care of my Nana after she had a stroke, so I'm not even sure where they're going to be in 4 years.

My two older sisters are 7 and 9 years older than me, so it's a little different. They've been babysitting me since I can remember. It's kinda like a really cool...well, a really cool older sibling lol.

This thread seems super weird to me. I get it that some families are nudists. That's sorta weird to me - but I get it. I also get that some families are just chill about things like nudity and whatever. But I feel like the average family is more modest, and protective of children and what they see. The older I get the more I can understand the nudist or chill lifestyle but that wouldn't fly in my family. My mom is super religious and I feel weird when I accidentally walk in or see my sisters naked. My friends family walks around their house in underwear like 24/7 including the mom and the boys do walk around naked sometimes. Super weird. I don't get it. And they aren't even nudists. I really don't get that. Accidental nudity happens though. And even though I feel bad about it, I know it happens in families.
