How to start a conversation on Instagram

Sup guys,so there's a girl on Instagram that I like a lot which lives close to me(yeh the profile ain't fake)and we don't know each other and I want to have a conversation with her but I don't know how.I think that sending hey is a bit weird for the first time and the girl maybe won't respond(I think there are more chances like replying on a story etc).Can I get any advises?I wanna hear girl's advise also

How do you know the profile isn't fake?

This is just my opinion, but I wouldn't do it. You don't know who is behind the screen, and with the fact that she "lives near you" (again, how do you know that for sure?) it makes it worse.
