I REALIZE THESE AREN'T OFFICIAL DIAGNOSES but I've done a lot of research and I show signs of depression and borderline disorder. I feel depressed, I go in and out of it really. I go through self harm and I feel like my problems aren't big enough to self harm or be depressed. not that I want to be but i'm wondering why I feel the need to or feel helpless and sad and empty yet at the same time having this intensity inside my chest.
I don't know where i'm going with this but I have no idea why i'm feeling this way and i'm very confused. I feel miserable because a lot has been goin on lately but I feel as though my feelings are invalid, even with the recent events.
what should I do? is this just a pointless stupid thread?

If you have clinical depression, you do not need a reason to feel like shit.
You do not need to have something to justify how badly you feel.
Depression is an illness, not an attitude.
You need to to talk to a doctor or counselor about it.

Keep calm, dear.
Certainly talking to a doctor or counselor is a nice choice.
On your side, you may try to do some sports which will obviously help you to relax yourself.

This is certainly not a pointless thread. From what you have written, it dsoes seem like you are having a really bad time of it all at the time. Try talking to some of your friends that you trust about it, they will help you through it by talking to you and offering help and advice. Almost everyone goes through depressive episodes and sad times so you are certainly not alone. If people spoke about their feelings a bit more than people would feel less alone when they feel down.
