Growing Out Your Hair

I'm in the process of growing out my hair. I started about eight months ago and I'm doing it gradually, still getting a hair cut about every 3-4 months. I've gotten to a point where my hair is long enough that I don't want to give the haircutter a number to use on the sides. I'm confused about what and how much should be getting cut. Any advice?

Ask a senior stylist at a hairdressers, and don't be afraid going to one that caters for women. Guys regularly go to a good hairdresser instead of a barber's.

A hair stylist if they are really good will show you what options there are, and they will probably layer your hair to make it even more stylish. Continue at the same hairdressers so they get to know you, their client. If you are pleased with what your hairdresser has done, give them a gratuity. They will appreciate it and likely remember you next time you visit. :)
