Guys, do you have trouble retracting your foreskin? I do. And when I retract my foreskin, I have trouble getting it to go back over my dick. I’m wondering whether I should talk to my dad, but it’s embarrassing. I don’t want to get circumsized. Are there stretching exercises for this?

You should gradually try pulling your foreskin back and do a little bit everyday especially while you are in a hot shower. Hopefully, if you do a little bit everyday you can break the skin adhesions.
I would not feel embarrassed about this problem because it happens to a lot of guys. Chances are your Father might have had the same issue growing up. If things are not improving, then ask your Father for help and go see the doctor. Unless you have a bad case of phimosis in most cases a prescription can be given to you to that can loosen things up and make things all right. There is absolutely no shame or embarrassment with your problem, and it happens more often than you think.

Yes there are plenty of stretching exercises. You can Google for answers. The important thing is to take it easy and don't hurt yourself. The exercises are best done in the bath or shower so your foreskin is softer. You will find good help on the internet. You could also talk to your doctor as there are salves and creams that will help loosen your foreskin too for stretching.

Good advice so far. If you do also go to your doctor for cream, that would be the preferred option. To be cut would be the last resort and only when you would be tight soft too

Try stretching exercises once or twice daily.

It does tend to loosen as you use it. Stretching can help. if that's still not working the doctor can prescribe some cream to help. In rare cases circumcision may be necessary. As you are in the USA where there is a high rate of circumcision anyway if your doctor immediately recommends circumcision without trying the cream first then tell him you want to try the cream.

Here is a great post from an other thread.
Phimosis, an alternative to being circumcised
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi to all of us teenagers that have phimosis that's when you can't pull your foreskin down over the head of your penis. I found a new operation where you don't have to be circumcised and this is what it's called.
Preputial Plasty
Or
Dessanti Technique
This is an alternative to being circumsized and the reason I know about it is because a friend of mine just had it done and this way you never have to lose your foreskin which is the way life should be for all guys but that's just my opinion.

I just wish I had foreskin to begin with...
But seriously, best of luck to you.
Surely there's a solution.
I am positive your dad would help you out.
Even though that is HIGHLY embarrassing.
It will provide an answer.

I would talk to a doctor and possibly your parents.
I got circumcised 6 months ago for similar reasons and it barely hurt; very simple procedure. Let me know how it goes and feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

It was bad til the past 6 months for me. I read online before to work it a bit for awhile, and it should eventually be no problem :)
