Hi guys,
Anyone got cut being a teenager and remember how was that? I’m 17 and recently been thinking of getting circumcised. To be honest there’s everything ok with my foreskin and I can retract it with no problem but what makes me really crazy is pulling it back and forth every time I have to either take a piss or shower. Anybody experiencing this kind of problem? Also sometimes my penis (kind of)starts to smell in a way I don’t like it to hah

I was 13.
It’s one of those things that at 17 you’re able to make that decision for yourself. If it’s what you want and you think would make you happy, go ahead.
Do remember it’s irreversible and both cut and uncut have there pros and cons.
I’ve spoken to many guys from here on both sides of the fence. Just remember adult circumcision does take longer to heal and the results are down to the quality of surgeon much more than when done young.

No don't.

You don't have to pull it back to pee, however you should to prevent a UTI. And you retract it when showering just to clean the inside. Smell does occur if you don't wash daily.

I have heard people say sexual sensitivity is much worse when you get cut. I am cut, and I wish I wasn't (I was cut at birth). I am sure if you get cut, you will soon regret it.

I'm cut and if what I'm feeling during sex and orgasm is "much worse," I want my foreskin back. Because it's pretty amazing as it is.
To be serious for a moment, granted you may lose some sensitivity but I can't imaging it being "much worse."

Omg this heartburn is fucking me up. Wish it would go away

Edit: holy shit wrong thread lol

But I guess I’ll answer.

At 17, nah just keep it that way. At your age circumcision would be painful dude.

I agree with the fact it would be painful at this age. I am glad I am circumcised for some of the reasons (OP) you mentioned, but I was circumcised as a baby. You have had your foreskin for 17 years, unless you had to or really, really wanted to, just be happy with what you have.

Yeah same here. Circumsiced as an infant so I don’t remember the pain lol.

So yeah, as Seth said, not a good idea at your age unless you’re ready have a sore dick.

NO-I would consider it radical surgery for
a teen unless u have a real medical problem.
I'm sure that with that kind of procedure u
would not b able to have sex or masturbate
for awhile. I would not subject myself to some
thing like this. Be satisfied with what u have.

I don't really like being cut.
If I were you I'd leave it.

You was cut due medical reasons, wanted it, or it was parents choice?

It was my parents decision when I was born. I probably would have liked to remain intact though.

I was a teenager and it wasn't too painful, tbh, but I would just leave it as it is. If you have medical problems, then it's right to have it done but it's not worth the pain if you don't have a strong preference for the look of it.

You can try to keep your skin pulled back permanently and for the smell, washing it without soap/shower cream helps (use warm/hot water only).

So how can you know that it's worse when you do not have a comparison? :)
Personally, I am against circumcision without a medical or religious basis.

People have said that babies don't experience much pain so anesthesia is not required. But that is not true. It is the same with adults and adolescents. Only that babies likely won't remember the moment.

It is a decision that you can make on your own. It's your body and you can choose whatever you want. At least you get to choose. A lot of guys can't and weren't able to do that. Personally I love my foreskin and wouldn't want to part with it. If you practice good hygiene and even take a wet paper towel in a restroom and pull your foreskin back and clean it if you get a smell. You may be not cleaning under your foreskin properly. You can Google how to care for your foreskin for more good information too. Just remember you can't put back what you cut off.

I was circumcised (but It wasn't full circumcision) due medical condition called phimosis and frequent bladder infections at age of 5, it was hurt as hell, but was to young to feel any difference :D

I think it very difficult to give an unbiased opinion because so very few people have experience of both and when those that do are such a small sample size it is difficult to be sure their experience will match your own.

As others have said, it is permanent so you have to be really sure before you go ahead and it will always be a step into the unknown. There's been quite a bit of debate on here and other places too and despite strong opinions it is apparent that both cut and uncut guys usually get plenty of fun from their dicks.

If it were down to me, I'd leave it alone because I think the slight inconvenience you mention of needing to pull it back slightly to piss and further to wash under there is something that will, in time, because a normal part of daily life in the same way as cleaning your teeth or shaving your face do. On the question of the smell, make sure you are getting it all the way back so you can wash in the groove behind the head. If you're anticipating a blow job you can always wash there before heading out.

If you think you’d rather be circumcised, I’d say do it. Yeah, the healing will feel bad for a while, but being the way you’d rather be will last foerever. And curcumcision is ultimately just skin—as surgeries go, it’s really about as minor as it gets. Not fun the first week or two, but not the worst thing ever either... but if you do it, it’ll soon be over and then you’ll have a cut dick. If that’s what you want.

The reasons pro and con of why you’d want it are a whole different question, of course. I’m glad I’m cut, but there are reasaonable arguments both ways. Just figure out your own preference so that you’re pretty sure, and then do whichever way that is.

I was circumcised 6 months ago and it was almost painless. There is no constant pain. It's not as bad as you would think. When u get an erection, sit down, get off a chair quickly, go up stairs it hurts for a few seconds. It was really hard not j/o for a few weeks.

I actually prefer being cut. If you decide to get circumcised i recommend getting it done loose and that enough skin is left to play with. Also, peeing feels really different.
