View Full Version : Being cut

I saw on a news program a while ago that a guy was cut as a baby and apparently had always felt that something of him was missing. I was wondering if anyone else feels or has felt this way. I certainly don’t and I think that is because I have always been cut so I don’t know what is “missing” if you know what I mean.

I am cut but I'm not going to say that
it is better being uncut since I don't know
how it feels. I think being cut looks better
and seems to b cleaner. As for missing
something-some guys think that the other
guy has it better when one should b satisfied
in what one has. Some guys envy other guys.

I agree with you. I was cut at birth and feel absolutely fine with my peen. I mean, how can you feel something is missing if you werent old enough to remember having it in the first place?

I really dont understand this whole "save the foreskin" movement, I got cut at birth and my penis is still my penis. I guess some people think it is a big deal

I have always felt that God put a foreskin there for a purpose. I enjoy being uncut and wouldn't change it. We all have our feelings and I just hope we all can be happy with what we have.

But God commanded Abraham to remove the foreskin of every male born to his line.

Well I know that but that only eliminates Jews and Muslims. What about the rest of the world?

Yeah. I wonder why.
I don't know, maybe God prefers circumcised than uncircumcised male.

So the foreskin was placed by God so He can identify which male in this world are the descendants of Abraham (cut) from the uncut?

My only point is that God must have had a reason to put foreskins on males. He also must have had a reason to tell Abraham to cut off the foreskins of males of his faith. I have no idea if all males at the time of Abraham were circumcised or not only that we must have been born with a foreskin for some reason. I am not against circumcised males I just don't believe in circumcising boys. If I ever had a son I would prefer him to be uncut.

Yeah, I personally think infant circumcision should be considered child abuse, as they usually experience a lot of pain (A lot of people think babies get very little pain, but that is not true). And usually in teenage life, they feel like they wish they had a choice to not be cut. Child circumcision has been banned in San Francisco, CA; and hopefully it gets banned in more areas soon.

Me too, however if I had a son/sons, I would let him/them choose, to be cut or not to be cut. My dad also let me choose when I was 7 and I decided to be circumcised at the age of 10.

I would wait until my son is 13 when he learns about sexual things. Like I could explain the difference of being cut and uncut in his earlier life though. I would just let him choose. His Body. His Decision.

But if you believe the Jewish perspective, or indeed the Muslim perspective, the people of that religion are God's chosen people and no-one else matters.
If you believe that God is responsible for being born with a foreskin and that he then ordered it to be removed then you are really constructing an argument for God being an idiot, or at least subject to the same irrational thinking that humans are prone to.

I got circumcised 6 months ago so i was used to foreskin and I never feel like somethings missing. It's obviously different but not like somethings missing.

You should be happy with the way yours is regardless of how it looks. However, I personally do think it's unfair to circumcise kids before they can make the decision themselves.
